When The Very First Time (Passion Sonnet) Poem by Gert Strydom

When The Very First Time (Passion Sonnet)

When at the very first time I visited you
I knew that you were friendly and kind,
of your inner beauty I did not have a clue
many thoughts went through my mind,

of the broken relationship left behind.
By your green-brown eyes I was captivated,
many thoughts went through my mind,
your beauty had not to me been indicated.

Many thoughts went through my mind,
you looked so very innocent and charming,
dumbstruck I did the girl of my dreams find,
and your lovely smile was totally disarming.

When the very first time I visited you
of your inner beauty I did not have a clue.
