When You Become An Older Age Poem by Dorsey Baker

When You Become An Older Age

When you become an older age
You listen for the rain to fall
And you wait for the sun to shine
When you become an older age
The stairs seem so much harder to climb

When you become an older age
Nothing seems real
And nothing seems fair
When you become an older age
Grey is the color of your hair

When you become an older age
You cannot do the things you used to do
When you become an older age
Someone might have to
Look after you
