When You Were Just A Dream Poem by June FeirCruz

When You Were Just A Dream

Rating: 5.0

When you were just a dream, I long for that moment in time
When you were just a dream, I long to see those eyes.
When you were just a dream, I long to taste those lips
When you were just a dream, I long to touch your hands.

When you were just a dream, I wonder what your voice would sound like.
When you were just a dream, I wonder what you'd say to me.
When you were just a dream, I cry most every night
Wondering, would you care for me.

But now that you are real, the feelings of uncertainty remains
I still want to see you stride, with your confident gait
I can only be a witch when those eyes are not looking straight at me
I am safe from the powers that be from those blue eyes that mesmerize me.
I cannot look at them for what was once a steely resolve is now butter melting.

You are real and you love me
Have I done so much good to deserve you?
All I know is that, I will be lost without you
And I can no longer imagine my life without you.
