Where do we go from here?
Nights of unbridled passion
Intellectual discussions
Kisses and promises in the dark
Everything is open to interpretation.
Where do we go from here?
I am with you one day at a time
While you live your life with someone else
And I live mine with another
A complication of our otherwise idyllic existence.
Where do we go from here?
Feeling like we are on top of the world
While secretly feeling profound grief
Of the unfairness of it all
Not to mention her unrequited affection.
Where do we go from here?
The excitement of it all
The never ending honeymoon phase
The sheer joy of just being together
Of being at peace once and for all.
