Soaring through the skies, swimming a river deep
I leave on an adventure every time I go to sleep
So many places to go and people to see
I’m amazed upon waking to find I’m still me
Whether it be day or night, my soul journey’s out of reach
I feel the sand beneath my feet, as I stroll along the beach
On a rocket ride to Mars, I stop and visit Mr. Moon
As I taste The Milky Way, morning comes to soon
On a safari in the jungle, I swing from tree to tree
Only to wake back up to realize that I’m not free
Up to the mountaintop down to a bubbling stream
I love the adventures brought to me by dreams
Drifting through the clouds in a hot air balloon ride
Then climbing Jack’s beanstalk to become his new bride
I just want to forget where I lay down my head
I just want to pretend, I’m not alone in my bed
You’re holding me closely softly kissing my face
I don’t want to wake up back in that place
Alone in the night, locked into this cell
When I close my eyes, my dreams take me hell
I hate being alone, miss your body near mine
The heat of your love, made me shine
I’ve praying for answers, they have come true
When I go to sleep, I dream about you
