Where Sea Monsters Thrash – Sonnet #50 Poem by Stephanie Eve Kane Arado

Where Sea Monsters Thrash – Sonnet #50

Water of which we are eight percent
Essential drinking makes us buoyant
Shiny metal objects once straight now bent
Falling from the sky gives life to the plant
Without food we can live though not pleasant
Let us freely imbibe, without ceasing
Not possible with drinks that make one rant
More water’s long life for the leasing
We all weight much less when we are splashing
The wet look is a timeless fashion trend
Let’s go where the sea monsters are thrashing
Stay till wrinkled, we’ll have fun in the end
Skinny-dipping or spandex suited water is fun
Weather you’re indoors or out in the sun
