WHO KNOWS WHERE IN THIS IMPOSSIBLE LIFE

Who knows where in this impossible life
Another poem may come from?
And why in this endless mixture of meaning and meaninglessness,
Should come suddenly
A flash of Beauty -
Which forever reminds
That we are from God,
And returning to God,
And never to be in our end without God-
And all that we are is that transition
From God to God,
Which we will never understand-
We being only
Small and human and lost and sad,
And not and never God at all.
