Why Did You Call Me? Poem by Tsira Gogeshvili

Why Did You Call Me?

Rating: 4.6

“The only happiness is solitude.”
Schopenhauer

Why did you call me
And make me leave
The desolate
And gloomy cell?
O God, I’ll come
Into the leaves,
In this whiteness,
And in the silence
Of the deceased.
