We certainly wish one,
to be called as one
and to identify
our very existence
we got to have one…

To give shade to
our immense desire
for recognition
and for our intense urge
to solicit encouragement
we want one…I guess!

To those who show us
the path of enlightenment,
to those who correct our flaws
and to those who taught us all through
we got to have one…

To showcase
our achievement to the world
which indeed is the result of
our hard work or luck!
we sure need one…

And to those who –
love us
hate us
trouble us
or at least think of us
we need to help them with one…

To give shape:
for every step we climb,
for every stand we take,
for all our feelings,
fantasies and dreams
we possess…
don’t we need one…

Yes, for sure
for everything:
we do,
we get,
we lose,
and we are left with
we need to have one…

And not the least
in the list,
to fill the vacuum
of our own life
and feel copiously fulfilled
we want name…
we want fame…
