Why I Call You Mother Poem by Sahira Sargam

Why I Call You Mother

Rating: 3.5

Tere Stan se har roj tera yauvan chusti rahi tujhe ek nafrat ki fursat tak nahi di, ki jisse apna vajud tu tatol sake MAA. Tere ishkiyana jamane me hamne Mamta ke zahar ghole. La patka tujhe 'MAA' ke jamane me, Tere beparvah hawa me lahrate dupatte ko sari banakar Tere armano ko kaid kar Diya MAA ka aanchal banakar. Phoolon see saji_gunthi Teri julfen, hamare moh me ulajhti rahi barabar Tere bhitar ke sawal jawabon ke dahakte ufante aag ke sagar ko hamne ek shant _sheetal pani Wala sarowar kar diya MAA. Hamne tumhari bechaini ka rachnasheel samrajya chhinkar tumhe santosh ki dasi bana diya MAA. Hamne tumhe Kahan la diya maa tumhe MAA kahkar.

We welcome you on this Forum, Sahira Sargam. This poem presents a powerful emotional portrayal of a mother. It shows the regrets of her daughter on having shorn the mother off her youthful days, fancies and dreams. In my opinion, it would be interesting and worthwhile to see the world through the eyes of a mother after she attained her motherhood. Really a thought provoking poetic expression. Thanks & Best Wishes.
