True artist encapsulate
wild exotic flower
lonely addicted traveler
so oft has sought.

To be found within distant
time chimed pilgrim journeys
in no famous city florist’s
shop to be so easily bought.


Oh angry hand
would you rashly crush
an exquisite purchased
store bought flower?

Its petals one by one
to tear rashly apart
a petulant crime mystic
released scent may savor.


Leave growing free pluck
not solitary wild flower
alone it grows prolific
within rare sanctuary grove.

Another traveler one day
driven at appointed hour
savors delight an unlocked
flower enjoyed upon dusty drove.
