Will Love Survive The Summer? Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Will Love Survive The Summer?

declarations easy made
or incapable of speech?
throat suddenly constricted
parched dry heart unnerved
too long too short versed?

are attachments
attractions childish fancy?
or heart's Spring bud
first quake stirrings?
Summer birth love

will it last
Autumn fall?
Winter bite
a year but last
two three more?
