Winter's Day Poem by Sandra Feldman

Winter's Day

Rating: 5.0

The stillness of a Winter Day,
Of all that's loved,
And gone away,
Resounding sadness of the heart,
A pain that never will depart.

The void, the loveless, naught to share
No presence, fondness anywhere,
A cold abode is Winter's Day,
No warmth will ever come my way.

And yet... winter can be a wonderland of beauty as well as a metaphor for unhappiness. Remember you are not alone, as people you have never met... your devoted readers... love you.
