Winter Waking Into Green Leaf Growing

winter tree winter sun winter sap in tree frozen
solid sap iron flow frozen wedged in winter stasis
late morning spring sun ignite eternal season flame
winter tree sap breath take sap breath breathe pulses
first breath first rush of spring sap into bark limb branches

sap pulse life deep rooted awake pour into twig ends
buds grow budding life brown green creep into leaf leaves
leaf mass life grow swim into summer buds swamp trees
burst into swarm sea of leaves ocean waves wind whispers
leaves leaf speak to us greening into life message meanings
