Winter Wonderland Poem by Cat Hodgson

Winter Wonderland

Fourth Season beckons whispering white

Fascinating in each humidity that falls

Echoing in blanketing white cover

Like the lattice for a blooming vine

Abounding beauty is within each prism

Moon glows with a glittering blue

Breathing enchanted rare diamonds

Crystals clasp a rainbow of color

As the distant white oak sleeps

I am glad to look out beyond

Held in warm love of a dream

With hearth crackling melody

Content to sleep like a kitten
