Wintery Fall Poem by Sandra Feldman

Wintery Fall

Rating: 5.0

Sadly trembling
In a lonely corner,
Life slides away,
Anyway,
And so do
The loveless days
Of far fetched dreams
Never retrieved.
Love, so far away,
Was never to be found
Never, would it be
Embraced,
By destiny,
Life scantily lived,
Hardly received
Insufficiently,
Achieved,
For without love
We are nothing,
A fallen, Autumn leaf,
That has committed
Suicide,
Out of Wintery grief.

A perfectly constructed and delivered poem about heart breaking loneliness. Superbly written with tragic imagery with a thought-provoking subliminal ending. Thank you Sandra for writing and sharing this well crafted haunting poem. it's one to make all readers think.10++ and added to my favourites. And I thank you again.
