Wishes To Be Liked Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Wishes To Be Liked

I will never trust anyone,
Who throws another under a bus.
Just to protect themselves,
From lies they tell to sell.
Or someone discovered hiding,
Behind a building to disguise...
A preparing of deceptions told.
For the purpose to have them sold.

Nor will I ever believe one I suspect,
To have a leadership position.
But can not make a decision.
With kept wishes to be liked.
These fence sitters are everywhere,
Limp of wrists and initiators of conflicts.
Unknown to those,
Who come to their defense.
