With A Reason Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

It did not appeal
In fact I sensed it unreal
The bell in holy place was sounding
With impact on mind and pounding

Priest was trying to wake up the Lord
Or was trying to air the holy word
Whatever it may be but certainly a wake up call
Ideal prayer time in the morning for all

I have thought over it number of times
But found no clue any of the time
I was becoming prisoner of conscience
I tried to give close look and thought at once

We all claim to have God inside us
Whatever performed is as per His wish
We are simple tool and helpless
So we bear innocence on the face

This has taken me to the conclusion
Let there remain no confusion
We can't trouble him for our action
As we know good has good and bad has equal reaction

Then why we go and try to awake?
Why so much of our doing is at stake?
I find no answer and keep quiet
The best way is to remember nothing and forget

It has nothing to do with any religion
When we leave peace messages with pigeons
We are at peace with out side world
But turning different in side and feel cold

I feel great sense of relief
When pray Him for brief
Not at fixed time but any time of the day
Whenever find spare time at home or on the way

I have observed myself completely at ease
Energy cycle is on and waiting to release
The rays of happiness is for the person
Who has concern for others and self with reason
