With You I'm A Heart Poem by Peter S. Quinn

With You I'm A Heart

If you don't want me here
I will just come and go,
people from everywhere
only want to say hello.

Don't turn them away
for its just for awhile,
perhaps only this day
you can give them your smile.

We are in this together
as the days go here by,
in all kinds of weather
rainy months and in dry.

If you don't want me here
I will just move on,
to another place somewhere
where they want me along.

For my time is on playing
its theme and its song,
and not for long it's all staying
before it goes along.

So remember I came
just to give of my part,
in the crowd I'm just a name
but with you I'm a heart.
