Wounded Soul Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

Wounded Soul

Vision through a crystal ball becomes a past tense.
A child witness bare and to become a man of arms.
Lead if you dare, with wealth comes despair.
Waking up from the nightmares and atrocities unwarranted.
But still they are there.
A poison that will forever thicken the air.
Some are choked out while others make it through it just barely.
Sleeping with one eye open.
Trust no one, not a way to live.
But what if one doesn't have a choice.
A forced obedience as you say.
Do we blame the innocent, of becoming not so innocent.
When it is the way one is raised.
Patriotic, to whom first your country or your people?
Sometimes it's hard to imagine for an American like me to understand what you actually went through.
But I do and we all should, because it could stop it from happening.
Good men who do nothing out of ignorance, are foolish men.
