Yellow Poem by Owen Yang

Yellow

Rating: 5.0

Yellow is the color of bees busily making honey.
Yellow is a sand dune shifting with the wind.
Yellow feels joyful and radiant, like someone has cast a light upon the truth.
Yellow sounds quietly cheerful.
Yellow is lightning striking, the fury of nature.
Yellow feels forgiving, as if people remember only the good you have done to them.
Yellow tastes like lemonade, sweet and addicting.
Yellow is a sunflower, merry company for the monotonic grass landscape of the field.
Yellow looks like taxis transporting workers back and forth.
Yellow makes me think of finches happily singing their hearts out.
Yellow smells warm, like something baking in the oven.
Yellow is the sun, proudly shining all day long.
