...You-2 Poem by Sarvesh Kulkarni

...You-2

Rating: 5.0

the ineffables hide your splendour,
and words mar your purity.
my expression of you,
lies in the vulnerability,
of my slightly cracked voice.

in one lump,
which rises and subdues,
in one throat-ful of my being.
some feelings,
too volatile to flow through eyes,
and too gross to remain unexpressed.

the glamour of your eye-lashes,
spreads wings to the moon’s whispers
and floats them in the tides of the endless ocean.

and the crouched silence
of the expectant twilight,
glistens in the enamour
of your forgetful laughter.

My earth is hidden in your eyes,
and you are scattered over the universe!
you aren’t crafted, or created,
you just are…
like the vagrant expressions,
of sunset cosmos,
a playful stroke of a painter,
or some scribbled words.

…and you aren’t,
like a dew-dropp that flies,
as if it never was!

It's nice It's like you are standing in a haze ofcourse this poem is good and all It's like you are looking at something divine through..well...through smoke Had I been less of a devil, I would have enjoyed it more Too much of divinity gives me diabetes but yeah....it has got a nice, ethereal touch to it liked it
