You’re my birthday wish
You’re my new years resolution
and my every night prayer.

You?
You’re my motivation, you’re my goal.
You’re my inspiration and my art
You’re my tragedy and my hope
my highs and my lows
my eyes and my soul

You?
You’re the graffiti I've never done.
And the tattoo I never got
You are the lobe of my heart
and the beat from my thoughts

You?
You are the roses I never sent
and the poem I never wrote.
the kiss I never had
but the one I always hoped.


But, Me?
I’m the spot that never aired
the word that was never said
the light you never saw
