You were the air around me; you were the essence of my life
You made me your queen, your caring and loving wife.
You gave me reason, you gave me rhyme, you game me love.
You were all that I ever needed, you were heavens dove.

Your passing has left a deep and rugged hole in my world.
All the essence you created has been unleashed, unfurled.
I try to remember our life together each and every day.
At night when I go to bed I cry, and alone I lay.

Then I hear the words of God, “you are never alone my dear,
The one that you love is by your side and you have nothing to fear.
Your man has taken an oath, to love and be with you forever,
He will be with you in spirit, he will be in your heart, and all endeavors.”

“Close your eyes and remember, feel the warmth in your heart,
Let all the cherished memories flow back; that is a start.
Smile my lady, be Happy, and live the life you have been given.
Trust the lord for I will provide, and you will have no more misgivings.'
