You Ended It All Poem by Trever Skinner

You Ended It All

Rating: 5.0

When we put two and two together we thought it meant forever but now my heart is severed by our destroyed endeavor. I thought it was something more, my hearts on a sleeve but it is feeling so sore. We said we would be together for life but all you gave me was a knife. Is this what you wanted Hun? you pulled the trigger to my gun. How could you do this to me? You were my honey bee, I would have got down on a knee, please just hear me plea, If you say it's over then just leave, how much suffering do I have to go through to make you believe. My soul feels so much colder but remember when you were crying? I was your shoulder and moreover I did everything for you, I was your soldier. Did you ever consider the fact, that you ended everything with the sound of a gatt.

Distress in bliss of love well depicted in the poem. Love is a spiritual experience that affects us profoundly, the feeling lingers long after the source of stimulation is gone. Love is also whimsical and temperamental, it comes unannounced and leaves without warning. I like the articulation of the poem. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem THE PHOENIX STRANGLER.
