You'Re Gone Poem by Katherine Robbins

You'Re Gone

Now that you're gone,
There's no one to make me laugh.
The games you played,
The good times we had.
I remember seeing your face,
It would light up my day.
Now that you've gone,
I don't want you to go away.
You've left this world,
Left it for another.
You left behind family,
You left before your mother.
No more games to play,
No more love to share,
I know in my heart
This pain I can't bair.
But as I wait
To see you agian,
I live my life
As best I can.
I ask God one question,
'Why this young child?
Why couldn't you wait awile? '
Why does God take
Those who fall from above?
Why does he stop
The spreading of their love?
God just do one thing
Take care of him
Be his father,
And his best friend.
As for you my love,
Just know you're my soul,
And know your death
Has taken it's toll.
I guess I'll see you
When I come home.
For you I'll hold
And never let go.
