You'Re My Ordinary Poem by Linda Barnes

You'Re My Ordinary

Rating: 4.3

I am nothing special
Not inspired by others
Just living a life
So few would notice

A world carved out
Just for me, no doubt
With barriers in place
Confined in a small space

I am nothing extraordinary
No brilliant skills I can offer
Accept for a warm heart
Extended just to one other

Someone like me, who is
Simple yet contrary
To be enriched by saying
You're My Ordinary
