Your Eyes Poem by Ramon Haupt

Your Eyes

The day has become the night,
bond-fire on the sand-a powerful light.

Lounging, having laughs to pass by the time,
up above far from the shoreline.

Until you came by we instantly connected,
the colors in, around your eyes immediately reflected.

Purple, yellow, pink, brown and blue, those were the colors I saw just to name a few.

The same colors that flourished at the two oceans,
a color of blue of these two moving at a smooth motion.
This was where color and peace was born,
yet looking at you-flashbacks-I couldn't handle them all.

When I looked at you I saw paradise,
the two oceans are now within your eyes.
