Your Fragrance Remains Poem by Juan Olivarez

Your Fragrance Remains

Your fragrance remains,
On my hair, on my skin, in my senses.
Your fragrance lingers within me.

your touch remains,
On my hair, on my skin, on my body,
your touch lingers on me.

Your taste remains,
On my lips, on my tongue, in my senses,
your taste lingers, within me.

Your caresses remain,
On my hair, on my skin, on my body,
your caresses remain, on me.

nothing and nobody, can separate our souls,
If I were dead and you still living,
I would watch over you.

I would haunt your dreams, and guard, your sleep.
nothing could ever disever,
my soul from yours.

nothing.
your fragrance lingers,
your touch remains,
your taste remains,
your caresses remain,
within my soul.
