Your Light Shines Brighter In The Dark Poem by Blakeney-rose Berry

Your Light Shines Brighter In The Dark

They are in darkness' clasp, where shadows lurk.
A wandering soul in the darkness of a well.
The night is heavy, so big, so deep,
Where dreams are far, and creeping fears.

In this abyss where stars appear to have vanished.
Yet the faint flame of hope still shone.
In the endless night, a quest for light.
A silent war, an unsung battle.

The world above, so bright, so fair,
Appears as if a world away from desolation.
Yet within the dark, a truth is known:
Even the lost do not walk alone.

Indeed in the blackness a lesson's taught,
To find that light, not just to seek it.
A spark remains in each heart.
To navigate through tempests and assuage the hurts.

Thus, in the night, when shadows dance.
Remember when the day broke.
For in the darkest hours, we discover,
Mind is the strongest light.

Strength is born out of every tear.
In every fear is a sworn hope.
Depression's night might seem unending,
Yet, in its depth, a light is bending.

Step by step, we tread towards that light.
Fearless now through the darkness.
In our hearts the truth we carry for.
Nevertheless, we must not hesitate when we are in the dark.

Therefore, let us search, let us find.
The light within, uniquely kind.
In the dance of shadows and the sun's bright kiss.
They are the lies of beauty and the depths of happiness.
