Your Name Shall Not Go In Vain Poem by Justin Gildow

Your Name Shall Not Go In Vain

United as one
You girls are so much stronger
than each on your own
What you girls have gone through
You've battled against the world
You've fought against the world
This world can be a cruel place
Oh, how I know that much

To me
To each one of you girls
We're all of the same
Even unique and different
Yet, as I've learned in this
world
And in this life
And I'm sure you girls have
found out
Or if not, you'll soon be there
Life's not easy
And the world can be a cruel
place
Yet, there's light
Light somewhere
Light at the end of the tunnel
Your name shall not go in vain
Even if the outsiders want to
tarnish it

Carry on girls
Fight the fight that needs to
be won
Carry the banner well
You're fighting for many other
boys, girls, men, and women
I've attached my hope to you
girls
I know you all won't let me
down
For as strong as you all are
You all wear the crowns
