Yr Letter Arrived Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Yr Letter Arrived

Rating: 5.0

Hallelujah!
It has arrived
When I read it
It answered that question
I am glad you're doing fine
But I miss you
I miss yr arms around me
On a cold winter's night
I have the picture you sent
I sleep with it underneath my pillow
I put it out and kiss it good-night
However, it's not the same
As kissing you for real
Only if you were here
But I will wait for another letter
Telling me you are coming home

A loveliest poem, heart-wrenchingly describing the homesickness for her loved one. Finest words rendered here 5 Stars! I have truly enjoyed this deep shout for her loved one.A scintillating poem!

Nice write LeeAnn, hard to be missing someone, writing letters help, but like they say, nothing like the real thing.
