struggling every day with these hard times
so i write in my black book, fill it with hard rhymes
but i crumble inside when the future is mentioned
and the way that you lack every detail of my attention
i wanna run away and hide
just crawl up and inside die
you were my fruit, the apple of my eye
but you fell off the tree one too many times
everyday you wake up and take
thats a mistake, i am fragile and can break
but even if i warned you, your brain doesnt function
you simply jump in and dont read my instructions
and now we've crashed, we've hit a t-junction
which way do you wana go?
if you come left with me, we carry on our journey
and you promise me that you wil never hurt me
but if you go the other way and face the night
i will be crushed that you chose to go right
maybe to lose is to gain, and you might have to learn
to lose is to win, and my trust youve got to earn
to get me back, you got to prove yourslef for me to return
why do you show such selfishness
you think of your self and never of jeff
i am your dog, your pet, yours to own
i dont deserve this, stop throwing me a bone
