East Of Eden Poem by Brittany D. Gay

East Of Eden

East of Eden, not far from here two lover lie, without knowledge or fear

East of Eden where dreams come true, where the sky’s the limit and you’re never blue

East of Eden where all is yours but one, in the mist of all, may touch, not eat, one you will soon want and seek

East of Eden, two lover now hide, a glance of fear, now planted in there eyes

East of Eden, cast now away, to live in a land unfruitful to thy

East of Eden, the gates now close shout, never to be opened and never to be seen

East of Eden
