Oh No No Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Oh No No

I remembered what it would be like...
To be bumped and humped.
And then to be dumped...
With a heart that's lumped.

I remembered what it would be like...
To be bumped and humped.
And then to be dumped...
With a heart that's lumped.

I couldn't imagine...
This,
Would happen to me.

Oh no no.

A drunkard laying in the streets.
Forgetting where I left my keys.
Wobbling to stand on feet.
To drag and stagger.

A drunkard laying in the streets.
Forgetting where I left my keys.
Wobbling to stand on feet.
To drag and stagger.

I couldn't imagine...
This,
Would happen to me.

Oh no no.

I remembered what it would be like...
To be bumped and humped.
And then to be dumped...
With a heart that's lumped.

I remembered what it would be like...
To be bumped and humped.
And then to be dumped...
With a heart that's lumped.

A drunkard laying in the streets.
Forgetting where I left my keys.
Wobbling to stand on feet.
To drag and stagger.

I couldn't imagine...
This,
Would happen to me.

Oh no no.
Oh no no.
Oh no no.
