Originally from New York State, I grew up in Saratoga Springs. Graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1964 with a BS in Education. MS in education from SUNY Potsdam, and an Ed D from Syracuse University. I taught social studies in the public school in Alexandria Bay, NY for thirty years and then began teaching in colleges. From 1989 to 1997 Jefferson Community College in Watertown, NY, then Michigan State University where I taught in the College of Education in the teacher education Department. I moved to Florida for a year and a half where I taught geography at Edison College in Naples and Fort Myers. I taught for three years at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. I have now retired to Prescott Valley, AZ where I have been working as a free lance writer. Poetry has always been my love. I have written over 140 poems. Steve)

Whose voice tones resounded like cactus.
