Now you’re gone, you’re too far away.
There was nothing I could say to make you stay,
But it’s okay.

We used to be the perfect team,
Now just a long-lost dream.
One day you’ll look back and then you’ll know,
That was a mistake you made so long ago,
The second you let me go.
We could’ve been the perfect team,
Now I’m just your lost love dream.

Not only when you sleep, but when you’re awake,
You’ll wish you put so much at stake.
You’ll wish for our love like I know you still do,
You’ll dream that my arms you could still run to.

Because we used to be the perfect team,
Now we’re just a long-lost dream.

What could have been between you and me,
What can still be.
