Katherine Pinero Poems

Photograph

Silence has broken, then comes the first rain,
Along with sweet memories of laughters and pain.
...

The boy who loves me so,
Holds me tight never let me go
Tho I have pushed him away
He is always here and stay,
...

His eyes sparks as if those are innocent, like the stars untouched,
His smile is like a crystal shining and glimmering yet you can not see it often.
He has the radiant face which you can look up, but there he goes looking down,
He then possess the knowledge, skills and talent but, like a turtle he crafts it under his own shell.

Beauty beyond compare
Everyone stops and stare
To those smile of his,
Yet hides mysteries
...

My heart is pounding, my mind is knocking it's doors
Saying, hey fool! Have you decided, who's who?
Love is never a good thing for me never had it at school.
Heart replies with a beat, I love him so much, didn't you know?
...

Beyond those mountains of grief,
Uphill to the sorrow's cliff,
Beyond the forest of illusion
And the rivers of lies and deception.
...

7.

I'm only a human who bleeds
The human who laugh, cries and think
I'm also a human who is just like you
Yet never can be you.
...

The girl who held her pride high, tripped and fell in love
Swallowed by her desires and now can't speak of
Perfection is what she saught, used herself as a tool
Perfection she tries to build, then made herself a fool.
...

Hearts Apart

Moments I wish we had,
Memories I hope would last.
...

A Little Bit

Little by little this heart skips a beat,
Little by little I realize I fell for you.
...

Who knows me in my midst of silence
When the noise ache in my inner self
Wanting to speak out but sound stupid
Then trap that voice in my head, treat it as beast friend
...

Dear God I'm your prodigal daughter that goes astray
Tho, you lead the path, I walk my own way
I've tripped and fall hit hard to the floor
Stand once again but forgoten where to go,

Silence has broken, then comes the first rain,
Along with sweet memories of laughters and pain.
The songs on the old wrecked cassette player,
Continues to play, it never ends but slowly fades

Skies covered with eternal darkness,
Then a loud clap of thunder that touches thy soul.
But still there is a sun that shines, called tomorrow,
Yet I'm trapped within the grey walls of a photograph.

If and only if, I could touch the time,
I'd hold onto it tight, to make it last
And keep the memories where it should belong
Right here, next to my heart, ribs and lungs.

Oh rain! Cry more and more, speak louder!
Let me drench into your storm.
For I have lost the one I love most,
The one who sat besides me in this photograph.
