01 of 01 of 07 we've made it to another year
And are you hung over from partying or did you enjoy the good cheer
Have you made a New Year's resolution for hope springs eternal they say
Good luck to you with my good wishes on this sunny and warm New Year's day,
06 for many was a tough one though for some doubtless 'twould have been great
If they are in the new millionaires club they have reason to celebrate
Depends on how you feel about it depends on the year you have had
If 06 for you was a real tough year 07 can be hardly as bad
Last night in Cities all over the World people sung and danced on the street
And people they drunk and made merry and strangers hugged when they did meet
Each New Year a time of renewal in life we may struggle to cope
But we look forward to a new beginning and where there is life there is hope,
So here's to you in the year of 07 and follow the dream you pursue
And may you be wealthy and healthy and may what you wish for come true.

Conplicated thoughts for the average mind, this poem deals in its own becoming with great ease and conviction. The endings are beautifully rhymed and the scheme and portrayal are beyond human understanding. Beautiful. Arya |
