031410 Wake Later For Dow

as the water subside leaves
stretch towards the sun to dry
ants form string, live floatation
worming red on an air bubble
crickets with their strong legs
dig in to hide from predators

there are puddles left for toads
chickens loves it for meaty foods
wild dogs roaming snipping around
they'll eat whatever they could find
would it be earthworm or hopper
fresh enough for lunch and supper

can you imagine if you're like them
you'll be stress out lots of whining
you might be blaming ob everything
where is that responsiblity of living
i wake up so early to scratch a few
maybe you can wake later for dow
