031610a Have You

i have craving for chicken today
crispy fried, soft and juicy
eight pieces for five bucks
more than enough for two of us
but i'm all alone so i'll eat twice
lunch and whenever i get a chance

when i get to parking lot i can't resist
i open the box, take one for the taste
followed by another, it's surely the best
good i have water in my car, i need it
napkins too, neatly in glove compartment
i have plastic bag where i keep the trash

a ring came between my hungry bites
asking question beyond my appetite
i don't mind some people are like that
they never know wherever you are at
what a relief after a drink of water
have you... eating with your finger
