033010a Feathers' Festivities

i'm so lucky today
somebody told me
i'm watching birds
from geese to gulls
feasting at floodwater
picking worms, kernel

flock of black birds came
it cover the sky, it seem
some took a bath, left
ducks stayed swimming
geese laid down, sleep
i can almost touch them

i walk, they don't mind
tempted to feed them
but i can't afford the fine
they love to eat anything
walking on salad bowl
prelude to mating call
