sunshine is barely above treetops
when i heard marching tiny feet
on puddles of water by my window
i hurried outside with camera phone
i took pictures; send it to someone
she said 'so pretty take some more'

just like that i took anything beautiful
even spanish moss up a palm tree
i love, it's prettier than with my eyes
been a while she's convincing me
to buy one of those two digit pixels
i have an eye for one but too pricey
