052910g Big Bird Heron
one leg dip in water
her neck retracted
eyes scanning over
then sudden snap
of its long large beak
it's a sure; instant kill
step with wings spread
so wide, covers a swath
that's her favorite spot
an open field for take-off
maybe a reason to live long
ready to whatever comes on
