061011d News From Wilderness
we were standing by capstan
waiting for some assistance
when a pretty girl came to chat
so young, so vibrant, contagious
i listen to her stories; i didn't ask
she is from alaska; native lass
i heard about eagles' hunt
diving into river for breakfast
big bear munching on salmon
leaving almost half for little birds
giant crabs that won't fit in pots
it's all nature story and no x-box
