(A) 49 (LOVE/PASSION) THIS IS CRAZY

A shadow with me all day
No body
This is crazy, this is crazy

Notes of a scintillating flute
No flutist
This is crazy, this is crazy

Breathtaking verse on paper
I was sleeping
This is crazy, this is crazy

Vermilion laden sky
Sunrise or sunset?
This is crazy, this is crazy

Dishevelled clothes, swollen lips
You came in my dream
I am crazy, I am crazy

Or is this the only sanity? ?

    Wow I just love the repetitiveness in each verse..it pulled everything together so nicely.You hold so much talent for keeping the reader interested and for that I thank you...and your topics are usually always relateable which is another plus.
    Very profound thinking expressed in this one and just a all round Excellent poem!

    Crazy, maybe, but very sanely and artistically expressed. A pleasing mix of a dream-like hallucination and thoughtful philosophy. You express the intangible with great clarity. love, Allie xxxx (Report) Reply

    Agree with everyone else. Surrealistic or out of body experience nicely conveyed and we all had similar experiences. Excellent write (Report) Reply

    A modern slant on 'A DREAM WITHIN A DREAM', perhaps? ...Excellent slice of surrealistical verse, young lady....you are playing on my every weakness...Dreams...The Mind & The Darkside...all my favourite topics of lit.. & research...Great work, T.O.

    Sometimes it's difficult to separate dream from reality. After all, we do create them both, only on different levels of thought. Been there, done that - totally know what you mean! Great little piece, TO.

    I know exactly what you mean. (The mark of a good poem, to have readers entirely relate?) Fine line between craziness and sanity. Katie Meluah (? spelling) 'this is the closest thing to crazy I have ever been....'. (Might be misquoting) . Yep. t x (Report) Reply

There! little girl; don't cry!
They have broken your doll, I know;

Are things of the long ago;
