A.Akhmatova, The glory on earth... - translation (rus.)
The glory on earth - is a smoke!
I haven't seeked it ever.
But every my lover I got
A real luck and success.
One of them is yet alive,
Loving the other spouse.
The other one - standing apart
As a bronze monument in the snow.
