A Far End Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I visualize the far end
It had always remained my trend
To thinks of foes and friends
To support and ready for good wishes to send

I have sensed the futility of such hunt
Life had remained difficult and bore the burnt
It has taught me to be tolerant and submissive
There lies humbleness in not to take but to give

Why is that I have been hunted all along?
I find it alright and absolutely nothing wrong
Why people offer me brickbats for simple song?
I am always with them finding nicely among

It may be nice way of repaying in their opinion
It may be best way to offer the opposition
I still find it right and best composition
It pays me well with my position

God has given me everything to feel happy with
I never have to express anger with closing the teeth
I go silently and meet the people with open smile
It gives me course and stand to walk for an extra mile

I might have not fared well with inner conscience
It might have been out of tune with its presence
Sometimes it proves deterrent if behaved in nice way
It is landing in trouble and dragging us away

It was sill long way to go and sustain
I did all possible to remain calm and maintain
It proved not to the extent possible
I always found it difficult and impossible

I lie with satisfaction on the bed
I find everything in flames and red
I know it will be just matter of time
I may be punished by some one for my crime

I breathe happily in peace with satisfaction
It is definitely a good sign and indication
You fear it most when reach to the dead end
It does not spare either foes or friends


There is no use to lament and cry
You should not back and ask why?
Neither there is any necessarily to feel bad
Nor is there any use to feel guilty and sad

It is universal truth that one has to depart
You try to retain nothing but impart
It will always give you inner happiness
It will grant you honor and closeness

I may look towards apostles with immense trust
It makes me feel good and it is really must
It will save me from possible embarrassment
I have prepared to leave the stage at any moment
