A Highbrow Feast: Al Gefry, Al Azhry, Al kahlawy Enhance Peace

A Highbrow Feast:
Al Gefry, Al Azhry, Al kahlawy
Enhance Peace
with Ramadan(BETTER VERSION)

Be happy Nadia,
For all the people
Your mind is born to love,
Your heart is created to respect,
Are gathering around
One table.

They came from
Different places,
Just to tell Muslims
And the world
How to enhance peace
Inside the self
And inside our dearest
Ones; our children;
The new generation.

Rejoice myself
This the Arab
And Muslim World
I used to dream
Of; the world in which
Arabs gather from different
Countries to discuss various
Topics and issues on political,
Religious, social, psychological,
And other important matters,
And problems such as the magnitude
Of WATER and SOLAR ENERGY
In this crucial time.

Al Habeb Ali AlGefry:
His genuine tears,
And deep analysis
Of Islam, Prophet
Mohammad’s attitude
And actions and other
Islamic and non
Islamic subjects such
As the WEST.

I sometimes moan
With him from the
Common misunder-
Standing of Islam.

I sympathize with
His fleeting timidity
From his tears, but
He can always control
Himself and his sniffle.
May God protect
Al Gefry and his family.

After young Al Gefry,
I thought there will be
No close or equal
Alem or scholar, but
All of a sudden appeared
Osama Al Azhary; what
An Osama he is, Osama in Arabic
Is, as I think, one of
The names of the lion,
And our Osama is a lion
In learning. A semi petite
Man with a grand mind,
Who could analyze well,
As well as he memorizes
Names and dates of books
In the East as well as
In the WEST concerning
Deteroration of Civilization
Which I will try
My best to write
A poem on.

My student Nada
Who is married to a ‘Hadrami’
With an Indonesian pass-
Port, But who cares for
Passports especially in
Love, marriage, and learning,
Is an admirer of Osama like
Her Husband. Nada
Called me and said
What a scholar,
What an ALEM! God bless
This Alem; God bless
Osama Al azhary,
His country,
And all the people
He loves.

Genuine, MOTHER, Ablah
Alkehlawy with her
Suppressed tears,
Authentic advice,
And attentive listening
To both men together
With her enthusiasm
Was beautiful, though
I rarely like extreme
Enthusiasm, but it is
Acceptable from mother
Ablah because of her honesty,
May God let her enjoy
Health as long
As she lives.

The group only lacked Mo’ez
Masoud, whom Al Gefry
Appreciates his efforts.
But Khairy Ramadan’s
Method in leading
The discussion was as
Good as ever.

Giants adjacent to giants,
Supporting each other
To bring the best of
The Arab and Muslim World
To the surface and to help
In developing each other
Whether Alems or countries;
Hence, we see Saudi Arabia,
And most of the Arabic Gulf
Support Egypt Financially,
So that it does not bend
Its head to non relatives,
In its turn, Egypt will always give
Military advice to them all.

It reminds me of the pre
Petrol past, when Egypt
Used to feed people in
Hejaz through “ ALTakia
AlMasriah”, so told me
Father and mother,
Egypt in its rich time
Used to send
Expensive clothes for
‘AlKa’bah’ at least
Once a year.

LOVE was the means
Of communication
Amongst Arab nations
NO GEALOUSY, NO ENVY,
NO INSULTS, NO DESTRUCTIVE
NESS, NO HATRED,
This is the Arab and Muslim World
I believe in; this the world
I want to live in;
This is the world I am proud
To belong to:
A world in which the post
Revolution MEDIA
Is not confined to actors,
Singers and Billy dance.

Poem of the Day

poet Edmund Spenser

My love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,
But harder grows the more I her entreat?
