A Homey Home Poem by Walterrean Salley

A Homey Home

Rating: 5.0

Nostalgic.
Familiar sounds.
Homey sights
All around.

Savory smell.
Delicious tastes.
A cozy fire.
A friendly place.

True kindness.
A darling pet.
Lots of love
And nurturing yet.

A favorite dish.
A cup of tea.
A warm bed.
That's home to me.

A welcome mat.
An open door.
Home is this
And so much more.

You've certainly painted a masterpiece with words here, the wonder and love of home; so well done.

Where else can we find bliss on Earth...? Oh! Home sweet Home! ! With a few lines, you have let loose a surge of emotions! !

I thnk this is a wonderful ode to the thing we call home. A homey home is one of the most precious things we can have. Very well written. Enjoy your homey home.
